Following the tragic death of T.I.’s best friend – - Phillant Johnson, four years ago, justice has finally being served. Forty-one years old Padron Thomas was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to his part in Johnson’s death in 2006. Thomas’s brother Hosea Thomas recently received 66 years in prison for his part in the murder following Padron’s testimony against him in court. Continue reading after the cut for a brief insight on this murder. In the meantime, we’re very happy of the outcome of this case. We hope that Phillant’s family along with his daughter can be at peace now.

While browsing around youtube looking for T.I.’s ‘Let’s get away’ video last night «— (Don’t ask) I came across this rare video of him in the studio. In the video Lil C and Mars, T.I. demonstrates that not only can he rap and write great hooks, but he has other skills as well.

My favorite part in the video came around the 5:30 mark, where he’s shown playing beats he made for this artist chick. She wanted something with more edge to it and his response was:

“Edge?…too-too-too, so basically what you’re saying is that the words are too light in the ass for you?”

LOL! Classic T.I. response. You can also catch Tiny walking around in the video as well at least twice. First time around the 0:52 mark and around the 6:20 mark. That’s his boo! and we love it!

I’ve peeped that there has been a lot of whispering surrounding a certain video that has been circulating around the internet in which T.I. claims he wants a respectable freak and so forth. Looks like some people have misinterpreted that of course and as usual multiplied 1 into 2 for no reason at all. Well the little ones have in this case. Well for the grown ones that don’t feed into that crap, I am more than happy to say that T.I. and Tiny (T.I.ny) are together. These lovely photos from the 2008 Bet Hip-Hop awards that went down on Saturday after party should convince y’all to quite nagging two people in love with kids. Anyways the party was held at Dreamz in Atlanta of course and celebs like Lil Wayne ,Fantasia, D.Woods, Maino, Big Kuntry and so forth came through to either performed or just chill. The Bet Hip-Hop awards will be airing this afternoon so look out for that.
